Rudraksha Power

Rudraksha, as defined by different sacred ancient texts, is one divine tool conferred to existence by the supreme God.

The Sacred Story

More precisely, it has been defined as the representation of Lord Shiva. In its literal meaning, it refers to ‘tears from the eyes of Lord Shiva’. As mentioned in Rudraksha Jabalopanishad, Lord Shiva has been stated describing the origin of Rudraksha to saint Bujandar by saying that during the time of universal deluge and destruction of all things, his eyes remained open for thousand deva years. During that time, some tears fell on the earth through his eyes, and wherever they fell, a Rudraksha tree originated out of that place.

The Elements

At present, they are prominently found in Nepal, India, and some south Asian islands. They are found in different forms, which are basically differentiated on the grounds of the number of natural lines or Mukhas over it. In total, there are a total of twenty one forms, ranging from 1 Mukhi to 21 Mukhi beads. The beads are most commonly found in nearly spherical shape.

The Power and Its Impact

This is accepted and believed immensely utterly, and because of that, people hold high faith on Rudraksha and its powers. They are considered to be comprised of divine powers with which they creates a certain kind of impact, which eventually ends up being highly favorable for the person who holds it. That power works on all the aspects of a person, which includes physical, mental, and spiritual aspects.

Among Yogis and saints, Rudraksha is immensely popular as a tool of concentration, which is a predominantly he most prime factor in successful meditation. The state of concentration as derived out of a Rudraksha bead is immense, and well beyond the moderate focusing abilities which one usually believes to be otherwise sufficient. It also derives in enormous resistance power, so that one can gain absolute control over senses, thoughts, and actions. With the godly power comprised by it, it enables its wearers to arouse and get aware of both the conscious and sub-conscious mind. It confers an altogether ‘out of the world’ magnetism and appeal to one’s individuality, making one stand apart and ahead.

Other than these basic impacts of its power, each Rudraksha form has its own individual benefits and nature of impact.

Factors Defining Power

In astrology beliefs, it is not necessary for all forms of Rudraksha beads and even two different Rudraksha beads of the same form to produce same kind of results or same intensity of results. Apart from the prominent factor of number of Mukhas, there are few other factors that determine the nature and intensity of power of a Rudraksha.

For instance, size is one significant factor. A bead of an amla size is considered to be the best, and that of the size of jujua fruit is considered to be slightly less than the best. All the remaining, which are small in size are not recommended as they are believed to be on dearth of power. One with an inherent hole and a gold line in it is considered as highly auspicious.
