Rudraksha Mantra
Mantras are Sanskrit chanting dedicated to God or any supreme energy in which one believes. The use of Sanskrit language for having Mantras is because it is comprised of the fifty primeval sounds. When one creates that sound, and then reinforce and propel it again and again, the sounds starting from their verbal state get transferred to the mental and telepathic states, and eventually to the deep land of profound thoughts where one gets connected to God.
The Essence
Their significance in the form of Rudraksha Mantra is phenomenal, and in fact the most primary and prominent. Any Rudraksha bead is astrologically believed to nothing more than one non-living unsacred creation of God, till the time it is properly sanctified and energized. Chanting of Mantras holds a prominent role in this process. When Mantras are chanted according to prescribed rites and rituals, they transfer the associated divine powers into the matter to make it active and energetic.
The Different Mantras
Different forms of Rudraksha have different associated Mantras of its own. These Mantras are required to be devotionally recited by the wearer prior to wearing it. The process of chanting Mantras is called as ‘Shudhikaran’ or the process of sanctification.
Take a look at the different Mantras of different Rudraksha forms, as mentioned in Shiva Purana. They are considered to be the simplest of all the Mantras.

The Siddhi Mantra
The above stated Mantras are meant for energizing the Rudraksha, and can be chanted by anyone. In order to get conferred with the blessings of the associated God or Goddess, one is recommended to chant the associated Mantra for at least 108 times. However, those looking to attain Siddhis out of a Rudraksha bead are required to chant special Mantras. These Mantras can be conveyed to a person by his/her Guru.
Japa Rules
While chanting Mantras dedicated to Goddess Mahalakhsmi, the Hindu deity of wealth, a Rudraksha rosary or either 27 or 54 or 108 7 Mukhi Rudraksha beads can be used. However, another ancient sacred text states that for doing a Japa for pleasing Lord Ganesha or Goddess Laxmi, one should use a 5 Mukhi Rudraksha standard rosary.
